Absence Management & Return to Work
Mental health difficulties have been identified as a significant cause of periods of absence from work. One in six workers suffers with depression, anxiety or stress at some point and they are the most common causes of absence in the UK, together accounting for about 60 billion lost working days each year. Our aim is to ensure that each client is assessed promptly to identify the issues causing the problems and then facilitate an appropriate and sustainable return to productive employment.
Working with all parties, including the employer and other health professionals, our psychiatrists provide recommendations and support to enable the client and employer to work together towards a graduated return to work. We work closely with a number of organisations providing absence management and return to work assessments for employees suffering from issues such as:
- Work related stress, anxiety and depression
- Chronic Pain
- Chronic Disease
- Anger Management
- Workplace Bullying
- Grief and Loss
- Adjustment Issues
At the heart of our service is our ability to offer a range of highly qualified and experienced psychiatrists nationwide. All of our psychiatrists are registered with the General Medical Council and the Royal College of Psychiatrists are trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic models.
