I have been providing psychiatric medico legal reports for the Criminal, Family & Civil Courts since 1999 and have assessed and reported in all areas of Adult, Forensic and Substance Misuse Psychiatry. I prepare over 200 medical reports per year. Claimant: Defendant ratio is 70:30. I am Fluent in Urdu and Guajarati and can undertake assessments in these languages.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE- I have undertaken numerous Psychiatric Expert Witness assessments in relation to fitness to plead, trial issues (including intent, criminal responsibility, insanity, automatism, duress, loss of control, diminished responsibility) and sentencing issues.
PERSONAL INJURY- I am able to assess the Psychiatric effects & prognosis of road and industrial accidents, psychiatric sequelae including post-traumatic stress disorder, phobias, adjustment disorders.

Current Employment:
Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry, in an NHS foundation trust since aug.2005.
Admitting rights to Priory hospital/outpatient clinics
Consultant responsibility for a low secure hospital
Duties include:
Outpatient work (where patients with a variety of psychiatric and psychosocial problems present). This includes all forms of Psychosis, especially Schizophrenia, Organic Psychosis, Bipolar Affective Psychosis, severe clinical Depression; co-morbid drug and alcohol abuse and a variety of severe Personality Disorder.
I run four clinics per week which serves the local population
I see a variety of patients with a multitude of presentations including Depression, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, OCD, substance misuse, eating disorders.
I run a busy private practice clinic
In addition, I supervise junior doctors and medical students attached to me.
